Uber pilots subscription pricing to lift loyalty

With competition increasing in the ride-sharing industry, Uber has announced that they will be testing a new subscription loyalty program named “Uber Plus.” In this program, riders will be able to get low, locked-in rates on a set number of rides for a nominal fee.Commenting on the new program,  Clarus Commerce CEO Tom Caporaso said that this is a smart next move for Uber, since this strategy will allow them to regularly draw in more repeat customers.
