GetHuman Hacks Through Customer Service Maze for a Fee

GetHuman recently began offering fee-based assistance to consumers trying to deal with customer service issues.  Clarus CEO Tom Caporaso told E-Commerce Times that the offer is a response to automated technologies, such as interactive voice response (IVR) trees, that often frustrate consumers.  The new service will create an extra layer between companies and their audiences, which will hamper loyalty efforts.
