Final Holiday Shopping Days Kick Off With Lots of Returns

The day after Christmas is usually a busy retail day, as shoppers head back to stores to return gifts, use gift cards, and take advantage of post-holiday deals. This year was no different, especially after 3.8% year-over-year growth in brick-and-mortar holiday sales figures. As Tom Caporaso, Clarus Marketing CEO, told the San Jose Mercury News, that rise was due to a stronger economy, lower gas prices, and more consumer confidence.
