Buyable Pins? Doable.

Pinterest recently added “Buy It” pins to its social media app, which will allow users to purchase items directly on the site. Clarus Commerce CEO Tom Caporaso tells Direct Marketing News that the pins can help retailers build brand awareness in an online landscape of 100,000-plus outlets.  Another benefit to stores, he notes, is that they can share more content, which will also aid their e-commerce efforts.
