Amazon Steers Its Online Strength Into Home Services

On March 30, Amazon announced the launch of Amazon Home Services, a branded offering designed to offer Amazon shoppers easy access to local installers and others.  As Clarus Marketing CEO Tom Caporaso tells U.S. News & World Report, this is another step in Amazon’s bid to be “The Everything Store,” but stores outside Amazon’s reach can compete and expand their audience by offering referrals to local service outlets.
