Alibaba hopes to cash in on China’s Singles’ Day

Clarus Commerce CEO Tom Caporaso tells CNN Money that Alibaba’s stranglehold on Singles’ Day sales in China should loosen now that is in the mix. While the November 11 shopping holiday is attracting U.S. retailers interested in reaching Chinese consumers, many of them promote Veterans’ Day sales in this country. Caporaso notes, though, that Clarus is helping QVC to make Singles’ Day offers to U.S. shoppers this year.
