A new feature in Apple’s latest iPhone update is causing big trouble for online retailers

Apple’s latest update lets iPhone and iPad users block pop-up ads, but it also adversely affects the performance of some websites on those devices, blocking display ads and product images.  Retailers will need to address this issue quickly, Clarus Commerce CEO Tom Caporaso tells Business Insider, since 30% of online transactions now occur on mobile devices, and many retail sites rely on display ad revenue.
